Retiring / Removing Members

Removing Membership ...

Membership can be removed from Responserack, but it is unusual. Typically "removing" a member is cleaning up an old imported roster, i.e. done when the member has no activity within the scope of the department working with Responserack. If a member is marked as responding to incidents in Responserack they should not be deleted, they should be "retired". See their member timeline.

Retiring a Member ...

Administrators can "retire" a member (i.e. they leave the department) independent of if that event comes with pension eligibility, or even if the department is terminating the employment of the firefighter.
