Excluding incidents from NFIRS

Some incidents are important to keep for department records, but are NOT appropriate for NFIRS. ( In fact, USFA have an NFIRSgram on when is an incident NOT an incident? )

Examples of such incidents are those toned but where insufficient fire department personnel were able to respond, or where response was cancelled prior to apparatus leaving the station.

In order to have Responserack exclude a report from NFIRS see the "Exclude from NFIRS" option in NFIRS processing.

Once marked as "excluded" no further processing is required, irrespective of any validation errors. Excluded incident reports are not exported.
