Requirement for Actions Taken
NFIRS "actions taken" is key data, perhaps second only to the NFIRS "incident type". What did your fire department do on scene? What mitigations were provided for risks, what checks were made, what interventions were taken? NFIRS expects one to three actions taken per incident.
NOTE: Responserack determines some actions taken from member roles; "Command" role provides "Incident Command" action taken, and similarly for patient care.
A lot of detail is provided via the incident narrative (and this is a great place to detail the department actions) however up to three NFIRS actions taken are required for each incident.
