Getting going with NERIS

If you've NOT gotten going with NERIS, here are the steps:

• Ensure your state has your record (you have a NERIS ID) and are invited.
• Get Chief's invitation, and log in. With that (if you aren't the Chief) use their account to create an invitation for you. Log in to the NERIS portal.
• Go configure your department in the NERIS portal.
• Enable the Responserack enrollment in the NERIS portal.

Step #1 - Does your state have you ready for NERIS?

Step #2 - Get your invitation (which usually goes to Chief's email.)

Step #3 - Get your invitation (if you aren't Chief.)

Step #4 - Go log in to the NERIS portal (and do what you need to configure your department data.)

Step #5 - Enable the enrollment to allow Responserack to file for you.
