Incident Modifiers

Responserack reviews incidents to guide administrators to what might be missing, yet required. Unfortunately, in some case, it requests things that are not available, and it doesn't know it is making that mistake.

Some instances, for example:

  • No Responders ... nobody showed up, but Responserack wants Roles, Apparatus, Times.
  • No Units Available ... no units rolled (e.g. apparatus failure, no trained personnel responded.)
  • Remained At Station ... perhaps staged, or cancelled before going en-route.

"Incident modifiers" allow the administrator to tell Responserack these insights, so it can stop requesting things.

Once modified, the incident will show it's modifiers, see in the header.

Suggested Modifiers

When reviewing, modifiers can be suggested. For example, if Responserack detects some missing information that could be due to "no response", it'll offer that option.

Modified Incidents Require Less Information

Once Responserack knows this is a "modified" report (not a normal one) it can ask for far less information.

NFIRS vs NERIS

NFIRS would NOT allow you to file these incidents, they must be marked as "Exclude from NFIRS", however you CAN file these with NERIS.
